When can I fly after surgery?

Your return date is confirmed at your last check-up, once your recovery is progressing as expected. After rhinoplasty, as the splint is usually removed on day 6, this is mostly 6–7 days after surgery.

Do I need a separate trip for the consultation?

No. The pre-assessment is done remotely; the examination, surgery and first check-ups are planned within a single trip.

Do I need a companion?

Yes. A companion is required to stay with you during the surgery and the first days afterwards.

The process, step by step

First contact. Write to us on WhatsApp or by e-mail and briefly describe your concern or the treatment you are interested in.
Photos. If you are applying for rhinoplasty or nasal obstruction, we will ask for photos of your nose from the front, both sides and from below, taken in daylight without filters. You can also send any previous test results or reports.
Pre-assessment. After reviewing your photos and information, we hold a video call with you to discuss whether the treatment is suitable for you and what the plan could look like.
Written plan. If you are a suitable candidate, you receive a written plan including the treatment, the hospital, suggested dates, the length of your stay in Istanbul and the fee.
Examination in Istanbul. On arrival, you have a detailed examination including nasal endoscopy at my clinic, and the pre-operative tests are completed.
Surgery. Operations are performed at NP İstanbul and Acıbadem Kozyatağı hospitals.
Recovery and check-ups in Istanbul. Your post-operative check-ups take place at my clinic.
Follow-up after you return. After you go home, we continue to follow your recovery through photos and scheduled video calls.

How long do I need to stay in Istanbul?

For rhinoplasty, you usually need to stay in Istanbul for 5–7 days. During this time your first check-ups are done, and the splint is usually removed on day 6 after surgery. Please keep this in mind when planning your return flight. For other operations, the length of stay is given in your pre-assessment.

Accommodation and transfers

We offer two options: we can arrange your accommodation and airport transfers for you, or we can recommend places to stay with easy access to the clinic and hospital so that you can plan everything yourself.

Fees and insurance

Fees are determined individually after the pre-assessment and are shared with your written plan. If you have Turkish social security (SGK) or private health insurance in Türkiye, please mention it at your first contact so that we can plan accordingly.
